The engineer behind the waystop

I'm Max Villa, a software engineer with 5+ years building cloud-native systems and full-stack products — from an event-driven payments platform at J.P. Morgan to AI-assisted commerce and data pipelines for a public company. I design, harden, and operate systems end-to-end, from the tiling-WM workstation up to the public edge. Mercury Deep is my personal waystop: a deliberately over-built gateway that will expose a small constellation of self-hosted services to the open internet.
